Man-made for sure but, with natural honey!
We just can’t contain our love for beer & hops and we are a bit crazy about experimenting as well! After much cajoling, our brewers finally made a few kegs of hoppy mead / cider as an experiment for the Tapped fest in Pune.
It sold out in no time and a full batch was indeed called for! Here it is.
We fermented natural honey as usual and then dry hopped it with the most popular craft hops from the US. The sweetness of honey, once fermented, gets replaced by the warmth of alcohol but still retains some of its aroma and character and brings along fruity notes from the hops. The result: a mead that beer lovers would enjoy as well!
